Concord-Kannapolis Rider Transit Bus Art Project
The Concord Public Art Commission invites artists to submit a two-dimensional work of art that encompasses and celebrates the rich culture of Concord. The artist should consider their designs will be made for a moving vehicle seen primarily by transit patrons and the public. The Bus’s two sides will be the canvases for the art. The selected designs will need to be converted into digital files of a resolution capable of being applied to a Concord-Kannapolis Rider Transit bus. The bus will be in circulation throughout the Concord and Kannapolis service area for approximately two calendar years.
